1.6 Start-up
NOTE!
We recommend that after you start your device for the first time you move
it in an open space (for example during a walk or a short car ride). This can
speed up the connection process, meaning that your device will connect
to the best available network more quickly. A good network connection is
required in order for the device to send and log data in the FINDER Portal.
Alternative connection utilizing an OBD extension cable:
Insert the end of the extension
cord which includes the visible
contact pins, into the OBD port
of your vehicle until it securely
clicks into place.
1.
2.
Plug the other end of the
OBD extension cord into the
FINDER.
NOTE!
Please always observe the manufacturer‘s specifications for your
vehicle. Claims for damages for inproper connections are excluded.
3.
Place the FINDER within cable
range at the desired location
in your vehicle.
Once activation has been successfully completed, the CAR OBD Finder 4G
2.0 is ready for use. By connecting to the power supply via the OBD inter-
face, the FINDER has already turned on.
