Alarm History Screen: With Doubler
The Alarm History screen displays information by span. With no doubler, there is only one span (
). With
multiple doublers (up to two), there can be as many as three span screens.

from the Maintenance Terminal Main Menu to view the Alarm History screen.

from the Alarm History screen to advance through the alarm history screens for the various spans.

the first doubler).

To set the Circuit ID option:

From the Main Menu, press
.
The message
ENTER CIRCUIT ID#
: displays.

Type a Circuit ID (24 characters maximum), then press
.
If you type more than 24 characters, a “Beep” sounds and only the first 24 characters are accepted as the
Circuit ID.

Press
to confirm.
The ID appears in all HLU-388 screens. The ID does not appear on the HRU screens when you access them
from the remote unit maintenance port.
Note that the Circuit ID can not be set to its factory setting (all blanks) using the DFLT setting
option (see
“Factory Default Values” on page 9
).
