OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Please ensure your camera can
accept an input voltage of 16.8V without
damage. Most newer cameras are designed
for use with 14.4V / 14.8V Li-Ion batteries,
and are likely to be suitable, but some
older cameras could be damaged by the
higher voltage. If suitability cannot be
positively established, please do not
connect your camera to the PAG CPA.

When the CPA is connected to a channel on
the charger, the channel status will
indicate CPA. This indicates the CPA has
been identified by the charger. The charger
will continue to charge any connected
batteries until the CPA is activated.

To activate the CPA, press and hold the
button on the CPA for one second. The
‘Process Indicator’ will move to the channel
with the CPA, the CPA will then become
active. The V4-iPC display will flash CPA,
and the voltage on the display will be
shown as 16.8. Charging will be suspended
while the CPA is active.

To de-activate the CPA, press and hold the
button for one second or remove the CPA
from the V4-iPC. The charger will then
resume charging any batteries connected.

The CPA is intended for use with specified
PAG chargers only (see Specification). Use
with other chargers may cause damage to
the CPA or the camera.

SERVICING AND REPAIRS

Important: Refer all servicing or repairs to
qualified servicing personnel. The PAG CPA
contains electronics that do not require
periodic maintenance, and consequently
there are no user-serviceable parts inside.

Unqualified personnel should not attempt
further investigation since this may

invalidate the guarantee and could cause
more damage than the original fault.
