Before First Use

Refer to the Cleaning & Maintenance
section of this manual. Clean the
appliance and attachments thoroughly
before first use.

Caution! To reduce the risk of
electrical shock, DO NOT put Chopper
Base in water or other liquid. Caution!
The blades are very sharp.

How to Use

1.

Place the Chopper Base on a flat,
dry surface such as a kitchen
counter. Position the Chopping
Bowl onto the Chopper Base, then
turn the Chopping Bowl until the
interlock switch locks in to the
base. The chopper motor will not
operate unless the Chopping Bowl
is locked into position correctly.

2.

Place the Blade Shaft into the
Chopping Bowl and turn firmly into
position.

3.

Put the food/liquids into the
Chopping Bowl.
a) DO NOT fill Chopping Bowl above
the maximum fill mark.
b) DO NOT process large amounts
in batches – if you need to process
large amounts, a larger processor
is required.
c) DO NOT process hard foods – i.e.
anything you can’t cut easily with a
kitchen knife.

4.

Place the Lid onto the Chopping
Bowl and turn clockwise to lock
it. Locking the Lid correctly will
align the interlock actuator and
Chopping Bowl interlock switch,

allowing the motor to run.

5.

Plug the power cord into a 120V
power outlet.

6.

Turn the Dynamic Control Dial left
(min speed 1) or right (max speed
2) to select your desired speed,
and then press and hold down
the chrome ring on the lid while
processing food.
Note: When processing food, watch
processing at all times to avoid over
processing.
DO NOT run the motor for more
than 1 minute at a time.

7.

When you have reached your
desired result, release the chrome
ring on the lid to shut off the motor
and stop processing.
