Main Screen
When the DPM-RT-
2 boots up, it will show the system’s Main Screen which allows the user to start a test,
view previous test results,
view the unit’s status,
configure the unit or shutdown/power off the unit.
The DPM-RT-2 is pre-programmed to lead the

Stall Test
for vehicles and plant
with a torque converter, and a
Free Acceleration Test
for other types of equipment, such as vehicles with a
manual clutch.
See Sections 4.6 Stall Test and 4.7
The
Continuous Test
can be used when testing for
longer periods such as under actual operating
conditions. This operating mode also allows
calibration checks to be done more quickly and
conveniently while logging the results. See

The
Previous Tests

Shutdown / Power Off
The DPM-RT-2 operates like any other computer system, in that it needs to be shutdown to avoid potential
data corruption on its internal disk. This can be done via the
Shutdown
button on the Main Screen.
If the
ENTER
Button is held in for 10 seconds, then the unit with power off instantly without shutting down.
Powering off the DPM-RT-2 via this method is not recommend as it risks data corruption on the unit. This
should only be used if the on-screen
Shutdown
button
cannot
be used for some reason.
