The chains have been
factory adjusted so that
the lifting arms can swing
in and out without
touching the floor.
It may be necessary to
finely adjust the length of
the chains.

Raise the carriages.

They will then sink
down on the safety
locks.

If adjustment is
required, use the
adjustment bolt.

Different cars have different balance points. Before lifting the vehicle, you must find its correct
balance point in order to position the vehicle in the right place between the columns.
