Instructions for Use
Before any work is carried out on the motor or the earth auger
•
Turn the motor switch to OFF.
•
Remove the spark plug lead from the spark plug.
•
Position the lead so that it does not come into contact with the spark plug or metal
surfaces. This must always be done to avoid the formation of sparks between the
spark plug and metal surfaces.
•
Replace or repair the part on the engine or earth auger.
•
Check that the replaced or repaired part is correctly fitted. Always only use original
parts.
•
Replace the spark plug lead.
Before starting
Fuel and oil
It is recommended that petrol of octane 92 or higher is mixed with two-stroke oil in
the ratio 50:1.
Important: Never allow the motor to run on pure petrol as this will damage the
motor!
•
The fuel must be mixed in a separate container, outdoors and in a well-ventilated area.
