General safety instructions:
•
Never place hands or feet near the rotating parts.
•
Read the manual thoroughly. Be sure to know the different features, settings and
handles on the equipment.
•
Be sure to know how the equipment is turned off and that you can operate an
emergency stop if necessary.
•
Never allow children or people who do not know the machine to use it. Always comply
with applicable laws and regulations regarding safety and working environment.
•
Do not use the machine when fatigue, ill or after consuming alcohol or drugs.
•
Always check the machine before starting. Make sure that no parts are worn or
damaged.
•
Replace worn or damaged parts and bolts in sets to maintain balance.
•
The driver of the machine is responsible for ensuring that other persons and their
property are not exposed to danger or accidents relating to the machine and its use.
•
Never use the machine near children or animals.
•
Be sure to remove any foreign objects from the work area before start.
•
Do not fill fuel indoors or while the motor is running.
•
Spilled fuel is extremely flammable, never refill fuel while the engine is hot.
•
Wipe off spilled fuel before the machine is started. It can cause a fire or explosion!
•
Be aware of the risks associated with sweeping difficult surfaces such as rocky or hard
ground.
•
It is recommended to use safety shoes with steel cap and non-slip sole. Avoid wearing
loose clothing.
Safety of machine use:
•
Always start the machine in the safety zone.
•
Do not leave the safety zone while the machine is in use. If it is necessary to leave the
safety zone, the machine must be switched off first!
•
If you collide with a foreign object, immediately stop the motor and remove the spark
plug cap and inspect the machine thoroughly for damage. Repair the damaged part
before continuing if necessary.
•
If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, stop the motor and investigate the matter.
Vibrations generally indicates an error / damage.
•
Always release the handles, turn off the engine and remove the spark plug cap when
the machine is left unattended.
