Start-up
•
Lubricate the three bearings on the blade axles before taking into use.
•
Check the oil level before starting the engine.
•
Open the fuel valve.
•
Push the engine throttle all the way forward (activate the choker at
full throttle).
•
Start the engine using the key (never stand behind the machine
because of the ejection).
•
When the machine starts, slowly reduce the throttle. Let the
machine idle for a few minutes to warm up before use.
•
After the engine has warmed up, apply full throttle (approx. ¾ on
the throttle) and the machine is ready to use.
Adjusting the height
•
Always stop the heavy-duty mulch mower before carrying out an adjustment.
•
The heavy-duty mulch mower must always be adjusted to the horizontal
position for operation. To do this, adjust the drawbar height in accordance
with the ball hitch height on the vehicle that shall tow the heavy-duty mulch
mower.
•
To adjust the mowing height, turn the adjuster lever accordingly to lower or
raise the mower housing in relation to the wheel height.
