Maintenance
Potentially fatal electric shock hazard!
Always unplug the power cable before performing maintenance on the machine.
Risk of personal injury!
Make sure the machine and connected equipment are depressurised before
performing maintenance on the machine.
Risk of damage to the machine!
All gaskets must be replaced each time the machine is disassembled.
Under normal circumstances, no maintenance is required (other than air pressure
checks). However, in some cases it may be necessary to clean the pump parts and
have the electrical components of the garden pump inspected by a qualified
professional.
Check pump and tank for leaks. If it starts to drip, this is a sign of wear on the
mechanical parts.
Increase the preset filling pressure
If, over time, the pump starts after removing only a small amount of water (approx.
0.5 l), the preset filling pressure must be re-established:
1.
Unplug the cable.
2.
Open the pressure hose (turn on tap or nozzle) and allow the water to drain
completely.
3.
Unscrew the plastic finger screw on the front of the pressure tank; the air control valve
is behind it.
4.
Use an air pump or compressor hose to the air control valve with a "tyre valve"
connection and a pressure gauge.
5.
Pump up to the pre-set filling pressure (1.8-2.0 bar).
6.
Reconnect the machine and check the function.
Storage
Frost will damage the equipment if it is filled with water. If there is a risk of frost,
dismantle the equipment and remove the accessories. Clean and store the
components in a frost-free location.
