Data Logging Guide, Model C16 

 

Opening the Software: 

 

 

The software that was previously installed on the computer can now be opened to allow 

the connection to begin. An example of the icon is located below in Figure 3.

The software will open and verify that the connection to the C16 monitor is ok. If the error 

message that is displayed below appears, it means the clock of the C16 is incorrect based on the 
computers clock and the software is asking if it should be corrected. This error may indicate that 
the data that has been collected on the device may have the incorrect times recorded if the

Troubleshooting: Should connection issues arise there are some steps that can be done to 
ensure the connection and settings are correct. 
 

 

1.

 

Ensure all of the connections are properly connected and secure. 

2.

 

Make sure the software is using the correct Serial or COM port. This can be 
determined in the Configure tab and Communications section as pictured below.
