. Do
not a

3.
Never connect to the vehic

ywork.
Make sure tha
t the connector on the jump start
cable is securely connected to the device socket.
If the connection is loose during jump
starting,
the connector could melt as a result of the high current.
4.
The poles on the vehic
le ba
tter
y must be c
lean and the c
lamps of the jump start cable must
be securely a
ttached to the ba
tter
y poles.
5.
Do not connect the c
lamps of the jump start cable together during jump starting – Short
circuit.
6.
At ver
y lo

9.
Only grasp c
lamps by the insula

gases,
dust or similar
.
• Ensure tha
t the jump start cable is not dama

• Do not short circuit the jump starter
.
• Do not shorten or extend the jump start cable.
•
Do not wear c
lothing made of synthetic ma
terials during charging.
They could genera

sparks due to electrosta
tic charge.
Risk of Explosion & Chemical Burns
• Do not start a ba

.
•
Never jump start a vehic
le if the ba
tter
y is frozen as the ba
tter
y may explode.
If the sides of
the ba
tter
y is bulged,
it is likely frozen.
•
Car ba
tteries discharge hydrogen gas,
which may ignite from flying sparks.
Ensure tha
t the
jump start cable is connected in the correct order to reduce the risk of sparks.
• Only run the engine in a well-ventila
ted area to ensure toxic exhaust gas does not build up.
•
Remove an
y vent ca
ps on non-maintenance free ba
tteries – be ver
y careful as ba
tter
y acid
is highly corrosive
•
Only use jump starter as prescribed in the manual. Avoid flames and sparks.
Explosive gas is released from the car ba
tter
y during jump starting.
If you smell an acrid odour of gas,
there is an acute danger of explosion.

Risk of Electric Shock
•
Ensure the ignition s

•
Turn off the lights and po

Contact between live connections may result
in sparks,
electrocution,
fire,
severe personal injur
y or even dea
th.
•
Ensure tha
t there is no contact between the bodies of the vehic
les and tha
t no such contact
occurs.
V
ehic
