slide the battery and safety key

into the Power-X Panel, ensure

that both are inserted fully and

the battery clicks into place.

2.   Hold the start/stop lever up

in the on position.

3.   Start the engine by

pressing the Start button.

Release the Start button

immediately once the

engine has started.

NOTE:

Pressing the Start button again while the engine is

running will damage the starting system.

4.   To stop the engine simply

release the start/stop lever.

Self Propelled Rear Wheels

Hold the self propelled lever with the engine running and the

mower will start to move. Release the self propelled lever to stop

the moving mower.

Practice starting and

stopping before you use

the mower for the first time

until you are familiar with

controlling the mower.

4.  HOW TO MOW

•   While using your lawn mower always wear substantial

footwear and long trousers.

•   Make sure the lawn is clear of sticks, stones, wire and debris;

they could be thrown by the blade.

•   Before using the lawn mower and after any impact, check for

signs of wear or damage and repair as necessary.

•   Keep the underside of the mower housing clean and remove

grass build-up. Deposits not only make it more difficult to start

the mower; they decrease the quality of the cut and make it

harder for the equipment to bag the grass.

•   Replace a worn or damaged blade together with the blade bolt

to preserve balance.

WARNING!

DO NOT MOW IN POOR VISIBILITY

CONDITIONS, IN THE RAIN OR WHEN GRASS IS WET.

•   Start mowing the edge

of the lawn and work

along making sure to

overlap each pass by a

few centimetres.

•   When mowing long grass be sure to not overload the engine.

First cut with the highest cutting height and then to the

desired height. This will help reduce the load.

WARNING!:

NEVER LET THE BATTERY COME IN CONTACT

WITH FUEL. DO NOT USE BATTERY IF COVERED IN FUEL.
