If the air straight grinder fails to work effectively, perform the following
checks:
• Check that the pressure on the air compressor is within its
|
working range.
If not, let the compressor rest to re-pressurise / refer to the compressor
instruction manual.
Note: This tool is rated at 90psi. Ensure your compressor is set no higher than 90psi.
3. Screw the male nitto fitting
clockwise into the female end
of the grinder.
4. Pull back the sleeve on hose
fitting, insert male grinder end &
release sleeve on hose fitting.
1. Remove black plastic cap
from air inlet.
2. Wrap the threaded male
end with teflon tape in a
clockwise direction.
2. Squeeze the on/off trigger to
turn on. Release to turn off.
1. To turn the grinder on, push &
hold the lock off lever forward.
3. After use, place one drop of oil into
the grinder, through the air inlet.
• Keep the ventilation vents of the grinder clean at all times, if possible,
prevent foreign matter from entering the vents.
• If the enclosure of the grinder requires cleaning, do not use solvents but
a moist soft cloth only. Never let any liquid get inside the grinder ; never
immerse any part of the grinder into a liquid.
•
Oil the grinder after each use.
1. Fit spindle lock spanner
onto the flats of the spindle to
lock the spindle.
2. Fit collet nut spanner onto
the flats of the collet nut. Turn
spanner anti clockwise to
loosen and remove collet nut.
3. Fit desired collet into the
spindle.
4. Replace collet nut then
tighten using the two
spanners.
CAUTION:
Ensure the tool is disconnected from the air supply before performing any of the following operations.
CHANGING COLLETS
1. Partially loosen the collet
nut.
2. Insert the shaft of
accessory into the collet.
3. Use the 2 spanners to fully
tighten the collet nut.
4. Pull on the accessory to
ensure it is properly secured.

Only use accessories with a 6.35mm (1/4”) shaft and a rated speed of no less than 26,000/min
