Start Up

1)

Fill the tank with clean fuel. Only use Diesel or Kerosene. The fuel gauge on top of
the tank allows you to check the fuel level.

2)

Connect the power cord plug to an AC220V-240V 50Hz earthed electrical supply
system. Earthing is mandatory.

3)

When steps 1 and 2 are complete, the power indicator light will turn on. Push the
power switch to the

on

position. If the thermostat control knob is set to higher

than the ambient temperature, the electrodes start sparking. After 7 seconds, the
heater will start.

4)

If the thermostat knob is set to lower than the ambient temperature, turn it to your
desired temperature. Then, the electrodes will start sparking, and the heater will
start after 7 seconds.

-

Note:

If you are starting the heater up in cold conditions, you may place a finger over

the air vent hole (see diagram below) during ignition to make start-up easier.

-

Note:

In case of malfunction (flame failure, reduced air flow, bad combustion, etc.)

the heater stops and the power indicator starts flashing.

Shut Down

1)

Move switch to the

OFF

 position.

-

Note:

Never disconnect the heater from the mains to stop it whilst it is in operation.

The heater outlet is very hot whilst in operation and after use

 do not touch. Use

personal protection equipment if needed. Unplug the heater before moving it. Never
pull the cable to unplug or move the unit.
