3.  Next you will be asked if it is OK to erase the existing volume on the OWC 

ThunderBlade, in order to set up your new SSD for use with a Windows PC. 

When you are ready and sure that any relevant data has been backed up, click 

Erase and Set Up for Windows.

4.  After a moment, the ThunderBlade should be formatted for PC and a dialog will 

confirm that it is ready to be opened and used. You can either click the ‘Open 

ThunderBlade...’ button or click Close and then navigate to the ThunderBlade 

in your Windows Explorer. Note: the dialog below shows the drive with a letter 

designation of ‘D,’ however this can vary from system to system, depending on 

available drive letters.
