PRECAUTIONS

General information

Read this installation guide and the safety instructions carefully before starting installation of 

this product. All the instructions given must be followed closely and this guide must be stored 

in a safe place throughout the service life of your product. Any installation or use outside the 

specified field of application is forbidden. This invalidates the warranty and discharges Overkiz of all 

liability, as does any failure to comply with the instructions given herein.

General safety instructions

- Do not try to open the housing.

- Avoid impacts or dropping.

- Never immerse the product in liquid.

- Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the product. Its surface can be cleaned using a soft 

dry cloth.

- Do not use this product outdoors. Do not route the cables outdoors.

- Only connect the product to Hattara® DIN Rail modules.

- Never try to insert any object into the connectors or openings of the module.

- Do not place the product in a metallic enclosure or a unit with a metal door.

- Any use or modification of the equipment not foreseen by this guide can endanger the installer or 

user.

The product can be switched off completely in several ways: 

- The MR-RTS module is connected directly to the Hattara® DIN Rail CU module: the product is 

switched off by disconnecting the Hattara® DIN Rail CU module from the Hattara® DIN Rail power 

supply unit.

- The MR-RTS module is connected by cable to the radio module connected to the Hattara® DIN Rail 

CU module or to any other radio module: the product is switched off by disconnecting the cable from 

the MR-RTS module.

INSTALLATION

Prerequisites

- A panel box equipped with a DIN rail, type TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 and a Hattara® DIN Rail CU product 

(see the product guide for more information). 

- Installation must be carried out by a professional.

- The power is supplied to the module via the interconnection cable or the connector for the CU    

module

- Do not connect any load to the available USB port.

- Ensure that 4 radio modules maximum will be connected to the Hattara® DIN Rail CU product after 

the installation of this module.

Installation

The product must be installed with the antenna not assembled.

The product can be installed in two ways: 

If the location for an additional module is free on the Hattara® DIN Rail CU product :

- Use the radio module without the DIN rail mounting 

- Insert the connector for the CU module into the “first radio module connector” (see the product guide 

for more information).

If the “first module” location is occupied :

- Use the DIN Rail mounting supplied.

- Clip the module to the DIN Rail mounting.

- Fasten the module with the mounting to the DIN rail.

- Connect the MR-RTS module to the previous module using the interconnection cable supplied. The 

cable must be connected to the right-hand bridging connector of the previous module and to the 

left-hand bridging connector of the MR-RTS module. 

Caution: the cables must never cross. 

- Ensure to leave a few centimetres between the radio modules in order to obtain optimum radio 

performances.

- Caution: the antennas must be installed vertically, pointing upwards,

and must never cross

-Screw the antenna supplied to the antenna connector.

The module is ready to be started.
