instructions before assembly and use.

For outdoor use only – do not use indoors!

Do not move the barbecue while lit.

Ensure the ash pan is in place before use.

 

• 

Never remove the ash pan whilst the 
barbecue is in use. Wait until the barbecue 
is completely cooled before removing it.

Modification of the barbecue may be 
dangerous, is not permitted, and will nullify 
any warranty.

 

• 

Use this barbecue only on a stable, flat 
plane.

 

• 

Do not use within 1m of any flammable 
structure or under any combustible surface.

Caution: Do not use spirit, petrol, or 
comparable fluids which are not intended 
for use with charcoal barbecues for lighting 
or re-lighting.

Do not store flammable materials near this 
barbecue.

Do not use aerosols near this barbecue.

D. Barbecue Assembly 

 
**TOOLS NEEDED FOR ASSEMBLY 

Medium size flat blade or Phillips/crosspoint 
screwdriver, adjustable spanner or metric 
spanner set 
 

**BEFORE ASSEMBLY 

Please read all instructions thoroughly before 
proceeding. Find a large, clean area in which to 
assemble your trolley barbecue. Please refer to 
the parts list and assembly diagram as 
necessary. Assembly of the barbecue involves 
many large components; it is advisable to have 
two people assemble the unit together. 
 

D1. 

Fit short legs (10) to trolley base (20) using 

trolley bolts (18). Slide axle (19) through the 
corresponding holes in the short legs and trolley 
base. Secure washers (12) and wheels (13) with 
wheel locknuts (11). Make sure that wheels turn 

freely. Snap hubcaps (14) into place. 
 

D2. 

Fit long legs (21) to trolley base (20) using 

trolley bolts (18). 
 

D3. 

Fit side shelves (9) to the tops of both sets 

of legs (10, 21) using the trolley bolts (18). 

 
D4. 

Remove contents from BBQ body (5) and 

lay  barbecue on its back side. 

(Charcoal 

Roaster 2000/Roaster 3000 Users - Assemble 
side vent panels (30) to BBQ body by placing 
vent screw spacer (31) over vent screw (29); the 
vent screw and spacer is then passed through 
the side panel (30) slot, through the vent screw 
washer (28), through the barbecue body and 
secure with the vent nut (27). Do not fully tighten 
the nuts until all 4 screws on each panel are 
assembled.) 

Insert barbecue body between the 

short and long legs (10,21). Feed the barbecue 
support bolts (8) through the legs (10,21), 
through the spacers (17), through the sides of 
the barbecue body, and secure with wing nuts 
(16). Stand barbecue upright; insert ash tray (7) 
underneath the barbecue body. 
 

D5.  Charcoal Classic 2000 Users - 

Lay 

charcoal basket (4) into body making sure the 
basket rests on the lowest level of hooks on the 
adjustable handles. Lay cast iron grills (2) into 
barbecue body (5). Assembly is now complete.

 

 
D6.  Charcoal Roaster 2000/Roaster 3000 
Users
 - 

 

Assemble the lid handle by threading the handle 
bolts (32) through the handle (23), handle 
spacers (33), heat shield (24), hood (37), and 
handle washers (25) before securing with handle 
nuts (26). 
 
Attach the heat gauge (34) to the hood, and 
secure with heat gauge nuts (35).

 

 
 

E. Installation 

 
E1. Selecting a Location 

This barbecue is for outdoor use only and should 
be placed in a well-ventilated area on a safe and 
even surface. Take care to ensure that it is not 
placed UNDER any combustible surface. The 
sides of the barbecue should NEVER be closer 
than 1 metre from any combustible surface. 
Keep this barbecue away from any flammable 
materials!
