Wall installation
Caution!
Make sure that when drilling the holes no lines are damaged.
Important!
Observe the instruction manual for your gas cooker! If a greater
clearance than 65 cm is specified, this must be taken into
consideration.
1. First, make a horizontal mark on the wall where the lower edge of the
extractor hood will be. It should be a min. of 65 cm above the cooker.
2. In order to position the appliance exactly above the cooker in the centre,
make a second guide line on the wall (vertical line, with the aid of a spirit
level or plumb line, from the centre of the cooker to the ceiling).
Make sure that the locations marked on the wall are not visible after
installation.
3. On the line indicating the lower edge of the extraction hood, use a pencil and
carefully mark the centre on the wall.
Important!
If possible, move the cooker so that there is sufficient space to install
the extraction hood. Use a stable ladder and get a second person to
assist you.
4. Push the lock on the grease filters 1a backwards and remove the grease filters
1a carefully downwards.
5. Position the extractor hood with the lower edge on the horizontal line marked
and hold it to the wall so that the centre of the extractor hood and
the vertical guide line are in alignment.
Use a spirit level to check the alignment.
6. Through the inside of the appliance, mark the holes to drill on the
wall (elongated holes and small round holes).
7. Drill the ø 8 mm holes in the wall at the marked locations.
8. Insert the appropriate size wall plug 10 in the holes.
