5.2 Driving Brake and Wheel Lock

 CAUTION

Risk of injury due to brake failure. 

Regularly check the wheel lock for proper function and correct if 

necessary. Worn-out or damaged wheels must be replaced.

The wheel lock allows the patient to both control braking and to park the Nurmi Neo safely. 
To lock the brakes, pull the brake handle (Fig. 25) completely and engage the retaining claw

5.3 Gluteal Support and Combined Gluteal and Pelvic Supports

The gluteal support (Fig. 27) as well as the combined gluteal and pelvic supports (Fig. 28) make 
it possible for the user to position him- or herself optimally in the grip bar area. Since many users 
tend to support themselves to the rear, these supports bring the user once again into the ante-
rior area of the grip bar and thereby into an upright position. The pad of the gluteal support is
