10) Apply Loctite to the thread of the mounting screw.
11) Slide the new functional ring onto the adapter of the prosthetic foot. The
structure of the functional ring only permits installation with the correct
alignment.
12) Insert the adapter of the prosthetic foot into the base body and attach it
with the mounting screw (tightening torque:
15 Nm
). To do so, insert the
torque wrench through the hole in the pyramid.
13) Pre-compress the new functional ring (see page 21).
14) Reinstall the prosthetic foot on the prosthesis and pull on the footshell.
