In addition, you may rotate the wheel holder by 180°. The anti-tipper wheel must completely extend from the
rear wheel to the back, and the distance between the wheel and ground should not exceed 5 cm maximum

Swinging-away and detaching the Avantgarde Teen 2 VR footrest
Use the release lever to swing the footrest to the inside or outside. For VR models with offset, you will have to
unlock the lever to remove the footrest, then swing the footrest towards the outside. Only then can the footrest
be lifted off. VR models without offset allow for immediate removal of the footrest after it has been unlocked.
Adapting your wheelchair to the patient’s growth
For this procedure, loosen the lower screws in the rear frame parts (the screw head being located underneath
the frame), and loosen the upper screws on the front frame part (Fig. 53, items 1, 2). The screw to be loosened
on the front (item 2) simultaneously serves as attachment screw for the side panel.
Pull back the rear frame as far as desired until you find another hole in the frame. Screw the rear screws back
into the frame bores, and the front screws back into the frame together with the side panel and the saddle wash-
er. Next, place the included plastic clips in the recently vacated positions between both parts of the frame, using
2 clips on each side if the extension measures 2 cm, and 4 clips on each side if the extension measures 4 cm.
The seat tube must now be fitted with the seat extension elements. If necessary, unscrew the back tubes, insert
the chosen extensions into the rear seat tube on both sides, refit the seat upholstery, and reinstall the back tubes
into its former position, where applicable.
