3) The functional stocking is secured distally

5) For the best possible adhesion, position
the end of the functional stocking directly
on the socket surface if possible.
INFORMATION
Together with the user, vary how far the functional stocking is pulled up. The tension is not per­
mitted to noticeably impair the use of the joint. For example, secure the functional stocking on
the socket while the prosthesis is angled.
The adhesion of the functional stocking is best directly on the socket material. This needs to be
considered when shaping the socket volume.
INFORMATION
The inductive charger for Genium can be used after putting on the functional stocking. Exposing
the charging unit is not necessary.
7 Cleaning and care
7.1 Cleaning the functional cosmesis
► Clean the plastic parts with a damp, soft cloth and then let them dry.
7.2 Cleaning the functional stocking

Wash the product at 30°C/86°F in a washing machine
Setting: gentle cycle (for delicates).

7.3 Care of the functional stocking
• Wipe the silicone coatings on the inside of the functional stocking with a damp cloth every
three days.
