4) Affix the foot strap to the attachment point and then close the foot strap
(see fig. 6).
5) Move the foot slightly towards the back. This will cause the orthosis to
move slightly in the direction of the tibia.
6) Fasten the calf straps to the medial or lateral side (see fig. 7). Fasten the
upper calf strap to the proximal side.
7) Pass the calf strap around the calf and fasten it (see fig. 8).
5.3 Cleaning
Clean the orthosis regularly:
1) Remove the plastic splint.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag.
4) Wash the product in 30 °C warm water with standard mild detergent. Do
not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
5) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight,
stove or radiator).
6) Reapply the plastic splint.
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recom­
mends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions
for use.

the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The
