After adapting the connecting elements, the side bars must be glued into the
system connection plugs for reasons of stability:
1) Clean the connecting surfaces with a degreasing cleaner (e.g 634A1).
2) Mix the 636W28 special adhesive and hardener.
3) Apply the mixture inside the system connection plugs.
4) Insert the system side bar.
5) Fasten with 501T7=7.5x9xM5 oval head screws.
6) Allow to cure for at least
3 to 4 hours.
INFORMATION: Final bonding strength will be reached after
16 hours.
Connecting the lock lever
The lock levers can be connected to one another if simultaneous triggering
of the two 17Y57 lock levers is required. Connect the lock levers with a trac
tion element (e.g. elastic strap) to permit engaging in the lock plate.
1) The 17Y53 connection tube must be used for lock lever welds and solder
joints.
2) Make sure that the locking mechanism is triggered simultaneously.
6 Cleaning
After contact with water containing salt, chlorine or soap, or when they get
dirty, the system joints must be cleaned promptly.
1) Rinse the system joints with clean fresh water.
2) Dry the system joints with a cloth or allow to air dry. Avoid exposure to
direct heat (e.g. from an oven or radiator).
