LAMP ASSEMBLY
WARNING:
To prevent electric shock, make sure the lamp is not
plugged in until all assembly steps are complete.
This lamp includes an OttLite
®
Natural Daylight LED Bulb
1.
Remove lamp from packing placing both lamp assembly and base
on a solid surface such as a table.
2.
Insert lamp bottom end (D) into base (A).
3.
Insert screw bolts (K) through the recessed holes located in the
bottom of base (A). Screw bolts (K) can be tightened using tool
(L) included.
4.
Attach shade (E) to socket housing (F) using socket ring (G) to
hold the shade in place.
5.
Thread socket ring (G) onto socket by hand turning clockwise
until tight enough to hold the shade steady.
6.
Refer to BULB INSERTION/REMOVAL to install bulb (H) in lamp.
7.
Plug the cord (C) into a standard 120V AC outlet.
8.
To turn the lamp
ON
or
OFF
press the switch (B).
9.
To position shade (E), loosen thumbscrew (J), move shade into
position, then thighten thumbscrew (J) by hand until snug.
DO NOT
force thumbscrew as damage to lamp may occur.
BULB INSERTION/REMOVAL
1.
Make sure that the lamp is not plugged into an electrical socket.
2.
If the lamp has been in use, allow it to cool approximately 5
minutes before proceeding.
3.
To install a bulb (H) in the socket, thread the base of the bulb into
the socket turning clockwise until snug.
CAUTION: DO NOT overtighten the bulb. Overtightening the
bulb may make removal difficult or damage the lamp or bulb.
4.
To remove a bulb (H) already installed in the lamp, unthread the
bulb from the socket turning counterclockwise to loosen.

1. Turn off/unplug and WAIT UNTIL BULB IS COOL before handling.
2. Bulb gets hot quickly! Touch only switch/plug when turning
ON

OFF

3. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully
inserted into the receptacles in the extension cord.
4. Do not alter the plug.
