Inserting a small instrument (IIc and cIc)
1. Hold the hearing instrument by the pull-out string and place the tip of the instrument
into your ear canal. The coloured dot on the shell should face upwards.
2. Gently pull your ear back and push the hearing instrument into the ear canal.
3. Use the tip of your finger to gently push the instrument.
4. Continue to push gently until the hearing instrument is fully seated in the ear canal.
Initially, you might experience some discomfort in the canal when inserting the
instrument.
