4. How to use
The detector is placed in a plastic enclosure with a removable base (Figure 1).
A tamper switch, a battery holders, a multi-color LED indicator and
RESET
contact to initiate
the process of binding with the Lun-R receiver are placed on the detector’s PCB.
Figure 1. detector and its base
Depending on external actions, the detector transmits the following events to the Lun-R re-
ceiver:
●
If the sensor detects smoke, an
alarm
event is generated. Recovery is made by the ab-
sence of smoke or by the
Reset
command from the control panel;
●
If there is no another events then the
norm
event is generated;
●
If the sensor sensitivity decreases by more than 2.5 times or the sensor fails, the
detector
fault
event is generated;
●
If the detector’s inner chamber is very dirty, the event
chamber dust
is generated;
●
If remove the detector from the mounting base, the
tamper alarm
event is generated;
●
If the voltage of the main battery drops to 2.2V or lower – the event
Main battery low
is
generated;
●
If the voltage of the backup battery drops to 2.2V or lower – the event
Backup battery
low
is generated.
In addition, the detector transmits periodic test signals to the receiver to confirm its operabil-
ity. When the test signals stop, the control panel generates the
detector communication lost
event.
When the communication loss with the receiver, the detector continues to search it. Therefore,
when you turn off the receiver or control panel for a long time, it is recommended to remove the
detector’s batteries.
4.1. Modes Indication
The detector modes displays by multicolored LED:
Norm
– light off;
Alarm
– flashing red once every 1 second;
