4.3. Wireless signal strength

The detector should be in the radio visibility zone of its receiver, therefore, after binding, be-

fore installation at the facility, it is strongly recommended to recognize the wireless signal strength.

To do this, turn on and place the detector and the control panel in the intended installation

locations, and then press and release the tamper button. The detector indicators display the wire-
less signal strength as follows:

No connection

If the signal strength is poor or there is no connection, it is recommended to change the loca-

tion of the detector and repeat the above process in order to form a reliable reception map.

4.4.

Installing

To install the detector:

1. Choose a place for installation at the height of 2m under the floor, taking into account

the signal strength in this place (see section 4.3) and the diagram of the detection zone

(Figure  2). The maximum distance from the detector to the farthest point of the pro-
tected glass should be less 6m;

Figure 2. Zone detection diagram

2. Press the lock on the top of the housing then remove the detector cover;

3. Press the PCB lock then remove PCB;
4. Mark two places on the wall for installing the detector according to the holes in its body.

Use one of the holes in the wall tamper sensor. Drill holes in the wall according to the
markup;

5. Fix the bottom of the detector housing in the selected place;
6. Install the detector PCB into the detector housing;

7. Close the detector housing with its cover.
