enable or disable the ethernet port
enable DHCP
disable DHCP (selecting this function will provide access to the remaining set-
tings)
assign a static IP address
set netmask values
set Gateway, domain, DNS, and MTU values.

until fully finished assigning
values to avoid errors.
In order to apply a static IP address to any Ethernet port, DHCP must be disabled.

Setting Up an IP Address via the Serial Port
VelaSync's rear panel serial port connector is a standard DB9 male connector. Com-
munication with the serial port can be performed using a PC with a terminal emulator pro-
gram (such as PuTTY or TeraTerm), using a pinned null-modem standard DB9F to DB9M
