Addendum to Argonaut
150mm Mak-Cass Instructions
The focuser of the Argonaut 150mm Maksutov-Cassegrain has an
additional feature that is not described in the instruction manual. By
loosening the three socket-head setscrews at the base of the
focuser housing a couple of turns each, you can rotate the focuser
to any desired orientation relative to the optical tube. (The setscrews
are on the part of the focuser housing right next to the rear cell of the
main optical tube.) This feature allows you to change the position of
the focus knobs for more convenient access, depending on how the
telescope is oriented on its mount. When the focuser is positioned
how you want it, lightly retighten the setscrews. An Allen wrench that
fits the setscrews is included in the telescope box.
