Working with ORiNOCO and Windows - Using your PC Card

■

Log off from the network server

■

Disable the ORiNOCO PC Card driver

■

Disconnect power to the PC Card slot (which will extend battery life for
mobile computers).

Removing the PC Card

To stop using the ORiNOCO PC Card:

1. Click once on the PC Card icon on the right side of the Windows task

bar.

2. Select the option

Stop ORiNOCO PC Card

3. Wait a few seconds until the operating systems displays a pop-up

message to indicate you can safely remove the PC Card.

Alternatively, disable the PC Card via the PC Card icon on the Control Panel menu.
