To change the record settings:
1. On the Main Menu, use the
key to scroll down to select
"Settings," then press the
or
MENU / ON
button.
2. On the "Settings" Menu, use the
key to scroll down to select
"Record settings," then press the
or
MENU / ON
button.
3. To modify the source for recording, press the
key to toggle
(microphone is the default setting).
4. Scroll down until the "Encoder" value is highlighted, and press
the
or
MENU / ON
button to select the encoding method
desired (ADPCM is the default encoding method).
5. Scroll down until the "Channel" value is highlighted, and press
the
key to toggle between "Stereo" and "Mono".
6. Scroll down until the "Rate" is highlighted, and press the
key to scroll through the available data rate options.
7. When the desired setting has been reached, press the
or
MENU / ON
button to return to the "Settings" Menu, or press
and hold the
or
MENU / ON
button to return to the Main Menu.
NOTE:
The higher the data rate for recording, the higher the quality of
the recorded content, and the larger the size of the data file.
