BIOS 1.19 Causes Microsoft Windows to Blue
Screen During OS Install

During the "Installing Devices" portion (phase 2) of the MS Windows install, BIOS
1.19 causes the HBA ports to be offlined, which in turn causes IO errors and a
subsequent blue screen.

Fix Available:

Load software supplement 2.2.0.

Combination of BIOS 1.19 and Qlogic 371-4017
Causes Red Hat 5.5 Kernel to Panic at Boot

Red Hat 5.5 kernel panics at boot when a system is running BIOS 1.19 and Qlogic
371-4017.

Fix Available:

Fix is available with BIOS 1.20.
