Power Off the Server (Power Button - Graceful)

Preparing for Service

Switch from the system console to the Oracle ILOM prompt by typing the

(Hash Period) key sequence.

At the Oracle ILOM prompt, type the

stop

/System

command.

If you are servicing a cold-service component, or if you are upgrading the server,

disconnect the power cords.

Power Off the Server (Power Button - Graceful)

This procedure places the system in the power standby mode. To service cold-replaceable

components, you must remove the power.

Press and release the recessed Power button.

The Power OK LED blinks rapidly.

If you are servicing a cold-service component, or if you are upgrading the server,

disconnect the power cords.
