 The Schedules and Channels options are only available when the video server is 

connected to a database and if the Scheduling Services (vsbcastsrv, vsschdsrv, and 
vsnvodsrv

) are started. Refer to the VSM online help or Chapter 9 of the Oracle Video 

Server Administrator's Guide and Command Reference for information on how to start and 
stop these services.
