Use the oakcli VLAN commands to list and manage virtual local area networks
(VLANs) on an Oracle Database Appliance virtualized platform.

oakcli create vlan
command to create a new virtual local area network
(VLAN) on an Oracle Database Appliance Virtualized Platform node.

oakcli delete vlan
command to delete a virtual local area network.

Use the
oakcli show vlan
command to display information about virtual local
area networks (VLANs) configured on Oracle Database Appliance.

(VLAN) on an Oracle Database Appliance Virtualized Platform node.
Syntax
oakcli create vlan vlan_name -vlanid tag_id -if interface_name -node 0|1 [-
h]
Parameters
Parameter
Description
vlan_name
Name assigned to the VLAN.
-vlanid
tag_id
Tag number, used for packet routing, from 2 to 4096 inclusive. It
uniquely identifies the VLAN on a node. You assign the ID and
you can use the same tag number on both nodes.
-if
interface_name
Name of the interface on which the VLAN network is created
-node 0 | 1
Node on which the VLAN is created, either Node0 or Node1.
