Health & Safety Precautions
OPUS RoloCUT A3 LED is a comfortable trimmer for cutting paper (it is not
recommended to cut foil, cardboard and coated paper). A knife and a knife bar
are made of high quality steel.
•
Before using the equipment please read the Health & Safety precautions,
manufacturers’ recommendations and the operating manual
•
The operating manual should be available at all times for the operator to
read
•
The machine is intended for cutting paper only. Untypical paper (e.g.
coated paper, chalked paper) or cardboard should be cut one by one.
•
Do not exceed maximum number of sheets during single cut
•
Danger!! The machine contains sharp elements area – pay special
attention during cutting
•
Pay special attention on loose-fitting clothes during operating the trimmer.
•
The machine should be kept on sturdy and solid surface
Attention!
The machine should be placed out of animal’s or children’s reach
Operation
•
Before you use the machine, move the blade to the left or right side.
•
Put a piece of paper on the cutting table under the transparent clamp
and push it to the right or left edge of the trimmer
•
When cutting press the clamp bar with your fingers
•
Push and move the blade along the cutting guide bar, to the left or
right.
•
Cutting can be made in both directions (to the left as well as to the
right)
LED lighting
The trimmer has a light which lights up the cutting edge.
To turn on or off the light there is a button of the right side of the unit.
Replacing the battery
1. Remove the sliding cap on the left side of the trimmer, pushing it upwards.
2. Remove the aluminum cutting guide bar sliding to the left.
Attention! When you remove the aluminum cutting guide bar you will
also remove blade.
Attention sharp elements.
3. Slide the LED module and button out. Do not pull the button.
4. Remove all batteries.
5. Replace the batteries with the same type.
6. When installing the new batteries ensure the minus sign face the button.
7. Replace all units the same you removed.
