Center-Channel Speaker
The center channel output contains the
majority of the dialogue and sound that
comes from on-screen action. There-
fore, you should place the center-chan-
nel speaker as close as possible to the
television, either just above or below
the screen. Place the front edge of the
center-channel speaker grille flush with
the edge of the television.
Your center-channel speaker is mag-
netically shielded to prevent interfer-
ence with your television’s picture. It is
possible, however, that some interfer-
ence might occur.
If this happens, turn off your TV for 15
minutes and move the speaker back
about 1 inch from the front of the TV.
Turn on the TV and recheck. If interfer-
ence still occurs, move the center-
channel speaker back further until the
interference disappears.
ATTACHING THE
ANTI-SLIP PADS
Remove the adhesive backing and at-
tach the four supplied anti-slip pads to
the speaker stand as follows:
When installing the speaker above the
TV set,
place the thicker pads toward
the back of the speaker and the thinner
pads toward the front of the speaker.
When installing the speaker below the
TV set,
place the thinner pads toward
the back of the speaker and the thicker
pads toward the front of the speaker.
ATTACHING THE
SPEAKER STAND
1. Slide the metal bracket through
the bottom of the stand and use
the supplied Phillips head screws
to attach it to the stand.
2. Thread the supplied thumbscrew
through the slot in the bracket and
into the screw hole in the back of
the speaker. Do not tighten it.
3. Slide the speaker up or down the
bracket to the desired angle, then
tighten the thumbscrew securely.
