CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Your Optimus 900 MHz Wireless Amplified Speakers are an example of superi-
or design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for
your speakers so you can enjoy them for years.

Keep the speakers dry. If they get wet, wipe them dry immediately.
Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic cir-
cuits.

Use and store the speakers only in normal temperature environ-
ments. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic de-
vices and distort or melt plastic parts.

Handle the speakers gently and carefully. Dropping them can dam-
age the circuit boards and can cause the speakers to work improp-
erly.

Keep the speakers away from dust and dirt, which can cause pre-
mature wear of parts.

Wipe the speakers with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them
looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or
strong detergents to clean the speakers.

Modifying or tampering with your speaker system’s internal components can
cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty and void your FCC autho-
rization to operate it. If your speaker system is not operating as it should, take it
to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
