BEFORE FIRST-TIME USE
There will be a slight smell when the appliance is heated for the
first time. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation, for example
open a window. Before baking a waffle for the first time with
your new appliance, you must heat it up once without batter.
Possible manufacturing residue will be removed by doing so.
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Unfold the upper part of the casing.
3. Wipe the waffle plates with a damp cloth.
Caution:
The appliance becomes hot during use.
If necessary, use oven gloves and only touch the
appliance using the handle provided.
Caution:
Place the appliance on an even surface
that is resistant to heat and splashes.
Fully unwind the power cord before use to prevent
over heating.
OPERATION SANDWICH MAKER:
1. Connect the appliance to an appropriate socket.
2. The control lights illuminate and the toasting surfaces heat
up.
3. The appliance must be heated up before grilling, In the
meantime prepare your food.
4. As soon as the appliance has heated up, the control light
goes out.
5. You can now begin grilling.
6. Open the appliance at the catch.
7. Close the appliance, making sure that catch is engaged.
Caution:
If the foods have too much filling on,
it will not be possible to close the appliance.
Take some of the filling off. Never use force to
close the appliance.
8. During toasting the temperature regulating thermostat
switches off and on again. The control light also switches
off and on again.
9. After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3
minutes) open the catch and remove the foods with the help
of a flat wooden or plastic spatula. Never use sharp or metal
object (e.g.knives, metal spatulas, etc.) as this will damage
the teflon coating.
10. If you wish to grill move food, close the appliance again and
wait until the toasting surfaces have reheated sufficiently.
11. When the control light illuminates again you can repeat the
toasting process as described above.
After completion lf the grilling process disconnect the
mains plug immediately. With the appliance open allow it
to cool down.
Caution:
The grilling surfaces as well as the sides and top
of the appliance get very hot. Avoid any contact.
Danger of burning! Only hold by the handle.
The appliance must always be positioned horizontally during use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance every time after use.
Unplug the appliance from power supply and wait it
completely cool before cleaning
INSIDE: use a soft wet cloth to wipe the heating surfaces
and dry thoroughly.
OUTSIDE: Wipe with a soft cloth which has been rinsed
almost dry in warm soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth.

Note:
Never use the abrasive cleaner or
rough scouring pad to wipe the heating plates
otherwise the non-stick coating would be easily
damaged.
2. After cleaning, close and lock the appliance by snapping the
handle fastener into the handle.
3. Store the appliance in a cool dry place out of the reach of
children. You may rest the appliance vertically to minimize
the storage space.
4. If any problem has been found, please contact the authorized
service center for help.

ter of other liquids. There is danger to life due to
electric shock.
