2.6.5. Restoring the machine to normal operation
After the jam is cleared or the required maintenance or repair is complete, the
Authorized Employee shall restore the machine to normal operation as follows:
1.
Remove all tools and other materials from the area.
2.
Ensure the machine is closed up and operationally intact.
3.
Notify operators and affected persons that the machine will be restarting.
4.
Make sure everyone is safely away from the machine.
5.
Verify all controls are set to the neutral or OFF position.
6.
Remove all LOTO devices and “Caution” sign.
7.
Turn the power switch to the ON position.
8.
Verify that the lights in the control panel are on (Figure 2-11).

9.
Reconnect the ECAT-IN cable.
Note:
The ECAT-IN disconnect/reconnect needs to be clean and in one
motion; any noise on the line will cause the InTime to crash. Should this
occur, contact OPEX Technical Support.
