4.13. Rescan Feeder
The Rescan Feeder consists of a slotted opening in the scan bed cover that
illuminates and a button to Activate/Deactivate the rescan feeder (Figure 4-20).
The Rescan Feeder button is only active when the scanner is in a paused or
reject condition state.

4.13.1. Pausing the Scanner and Using the Rescan Feeder
When selecting
Pause
on the run screen, the Rescan Feeder slot will flash
blue. This alerts the operator that it may be used to insert single or multiple
items into the rescan feeder.
To use the Rescan Feeder without Multi-Feed detection in paused state:
1.
Select
Pause
on the run screen, the Rescan Feeder slot will start flashing
blue, press the
Rescan Feeder
button and the slot will become lit a solid
blue.
2. Insert the item(s) one at a time into the slot.
3. When finished, press the
Rescan Feeder
button again. The slot will no
longer be illuminated, and feeding will resume at the auto feeder.
