3.1. Power on the System and Launch CertainScan
1.
Turn on the scanner main power switch.
2.
Turn on the UPS. The monitor will turn on, and the computer will begin to
boot up. If the UPS is on and the computer is not on, turn on the computer.
3. Windows will launch without log on prompt unless configured for local
Network access. If configured, log on to Windows with your username and
password.
4. Double-click the
CS
icon (Figure 3-1) on the desktop to launch CertainScan.

5. The CertainScan Main screen will display for Operator Login (Figure 3-2).
