Add User 

The user name and passwords are limited to 16 characters with no spaces permitted. 
There is a maximum of twenty user accounts. 

1.

 

Type the new User name and Password 

2.

 

Select Super, Operator, or Viewer to manage the Setup and Advanced menu 
access for the User. 

Super

 

– All functions in the Setup and Advanced menus are available to the User. 

Operator

 

– Allows the User to change camera controls in the Setup menu. 

Viewer

 

– The User is only allowed to view Live video.

Apply 

to confirm changes. 

 

Delete User 

1.

 

Select the user name on the User Name list.

Click Remove to remove the user. 

3.

 

Click Apply to confirm changes. 

 

Modify User 

1.

 

Select the user name on the User Name list. 

2.

 

Edit the Username and Password fields. 

3.

 

Click Modify. 

 

You must type a password in the User password box to make any changes to 
an account. 

 

For security reasons, every time the user properties are opened the access 
check boxes are automatically cleared. Make sure you select any user access 
options each time you edit the user properties. 

 

IP Filtering 

IP Filtering allows you limit access to your IP cameras by IP address. You can “Allow” or 
“Deny” a specific IP address by adding it to the appropriate list. IP addresses on the 
“Allowed IP List” will be able to access the IP camera. IP addresses on the “Deny IP List” 
will NOT be able to access the IP camera.
