Emergency
Creation of a connection cannot be
guaranteed in all situations. This is why
you should not rely exclusively on a
mobile telephone when it is a question
of essential calls (e. g. medical
emergencies).
In some networks, a valid S I M card
may have to be properly inserted into
the mobile telephone.
Please remember that you c a n then
only make a n d receive calls using your
mobile telephone if it is located in a
service a r e a with a sufficiently strong
signal. In certain circumstances,
emergency calls cannot be m a d e
within all mobile telephone networks; it
may also not be possible to make them
if specific network services and/or
telephone functions are active. Y o u
can enquire about this matter at your
local network operators'.
The emergency number c a n vary
depending on the region a n d country.
Enquire in a d v a n c e about the correct
emergency number for each particular
region.
Making emergency calls
Dial the emergency number (e.g. 112
in G r e a t Britain).
The connection to the emergency call
centre is created.
Answer if the service staff ask you
about the emergency.
Ending emergency calls
Select the " H a n g - u p " menu item.
Or:
Press the
1
key or the 0 key.
Only end the call when you are
requested to do so by the emergency
call centre.
