IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future 

reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. The 

safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury 

when correctly adhered to.

Electrical safety and cord handling

•  Before plugging the heater into a suitable power point, make sure that your outlet 

voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the appliance 
rating label. 

• 

Always plug this heater into a separate power point. Do not use it with an 

extension cord as this may overheat and cause a fire risk.

•  To ensure you do not overload the electrical circuit, make sure that no other 

appliance is in use on the same electrical circuit as the heater.

• 

WARNING

:  To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:

•  Never touch the heater, plug or cord, or adjust any switches, with wet or damp 

hands or feet.

• 

Do not immerse the heater in water or let water drip or spill into the heater.

• 

Never expose the heater to an atmospheric condition (rain, sun, etc.).

•  Always place the heater on a flat, stable surface.

• 

Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater 
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. In such a case, 
contact the after sales support line for advice.

• 

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an 
authorised service agent in order to avoid a hazard. Contact the after sales 
support line for advice.

Protect the power cord:

 

• 

Do not put the cord on top of or wrap it around the heater.

•  Do not twist or kink the cord or let it touch heated surfaces during operation. 
• 

Do not put any stress on the cord where it connects to the product.

• 

Do not pull the cord when unplugging the heater, grip the plug.

•  Arrange the cord away from any traffic area so no one will trip over it.
• 

Do not run the cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc. 

• 

Only operate the heater with the power cord fully unwound. Using it with the 

cord coiled up could cause overheating and present a fire hazard.

• 

Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power supply. 

•  To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit.
