AC adaptor jack:

Accepts connection of an external

AC adaptor. By using an AC adaptor you can play without
being concerned about the battery life.

Input jack: 

Connect your instrument cord or the output

of another effect pedal if you are linking pedals together.

Output jack:

This output jack will deliver the effected

sound to your amplifiers or to an input jack of another
effect.

Pedal:

Depress to turn on/off the pedal.

Thumbscrew:

By loosing this thumbscrew you will gain

access to the battery compartment. For instructions on
how to replace the battery please refer to page 6.

Rate:

Gives you control of the speed of flanger effect.

Depth:

Gives you control of the depth of flanger effect.

At minimum the effect close to zero.  Effect increases as
you turn to maximum.

Feedback:

Sets the flanger effect ressonance. Set to

minimum, the HF-1 has a chorus-like effect. Turning from
left to right obtains the "jet engine sound", and it is even
more pronounced if the RATE control is set to low speed.
