Initial Use
• Wipe the outer parts of the appliance and the accessories with a damp cloth before using the
appliance.
•
Before the first use you should heat up the appliance for about 5 minutes which eliminates any
possible production or packaging residues.
• Position the grease draining tray. Attach the food on the main spit and other skewers, attach the
upper rotating plate, block it and insert the main spit with integrated rotating plate in the appro-
priate openings.
•
You can remove the reflector for cleaning.
•
CAUTION! Never use the appliance without reflector
• After having inserted the food in the vertical grill, plug in the appliance again and switch it on.
How To Grill
Gyros
Pile up soft pork meat slices of about 5-10mm (traditionally meat from shoulder or ham is used) on
the skewer until a cone of around 2kgs has erected. Don‘t forget to season the meat before piling it
up.
Make sure the meat does not exceed the platter.
Switch the device on and let it work for a while. After a golden brown crust has evolved, you can cut
off the outer coat.
The slipper clutch ensures there will be no damages due to stopping the rotation for cutting. Never-
theless, a electric knife/cutter is recommended.
Poultry
Clean a chicken / a duck, take out the giblets and season or spice it at your taste. Put the duck on
the main skewer in an upright position and put the driving disc on it. Fixate the grillable by putting
the kebap skewers in place (so a basket emerges).
Wait until the poultry is golden brouw and take it out carefully (CAUTION - Hot!)
