INSTALLATION
The BioShift chamber can be installed on its own or inside a wall to utilize its pass-
through function. A minimum wall cutout of 30’’ x 72’’ is recommended for installation.

be installed in dry locations only (Pour emplacements secs
seulement). Product is approved for indoor use at an altitude up to 2000m.
1. Use two or more people to carefully slide the BioShift chamber into place. Use
caution when moving, as the chamber can tip.
Do not block maintenance or power
access panels when installing.
2. The cross section of wire for power input shall be at least 14 AWG/1.5 mm
2
. If used,
cables shall be STJ 14 AWG / H05VV-F 3G1.5mm
2
or larger.
3. A circuit breaker in the building shall be provided as a mains disconnection device.
120VAC power systems shall use a circuit breaker with a minimum current rating
of 15A. 230VAC power systems shall use a circuit breaker with a minimum current
rating of 10A.
4. Connect input power wiring:
a) Choose one of the provided connectors for wire protection. Remove the
appropriately sized knockout on the power access panel at the bottom of the
chamber.
b) Remove four screws to open the access panel.
c) Run wires/cable through provided connector and knockout hole.
d) Fix incoming wires to the terminal block, see connection arrangement below.
e) Fasten wires/cable inside the cabinet with cable ties, make sure the wires are
not under tension.
f) Screw the connector into knockout hole to securely fasten cable.
g) Replace access panel with four screws.
Removal
Always de-energize/disconnect power before moving.
